Dave-

I think that it's horribly boring to put an entry without photos, but I haven't downloaded any photos since we moved in November, and I still don't know where my camera chord is. Oh well. Jacob is anxiously awaiting Wednesday, March 4th, 2009. That is the day that Dave will be baptizing Jacob. Only 38 days left! Dave has been fairing well considering the circumstances. He has been maintaining his weight, and he just had a blood transfusion Saturday, which has added some color to his face and some interresting spontanious lyrics to familiar songs. We've been joking and asking him, "Who's blood did you get?" because he certainly has been acting a little strange- but funny.

Orphan Annie

This is the adoreable orphan that we took on as our own. (Amazingly she looks just like me!)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We went to the pumpkin patch and picked out our own pumpkins & carved them.

Virgin River Trail

Image
Dave's been feeling much better since the installation of his pain pump. On Monday, Dave and I biked the rim trail. It was a lot of fun. On the way downhill, Dave kept exclaiming, "I love this! I love this!"

Coral Pink Sand Dunes

Image
We went with Alden and Natalie to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes over UEA. It was a blast! We plummeted down the edge of one of the biggest dunes we found there. There's Natalie at the top with Kate. Caden just loves his niece, Kate. He is a great babysitter.

Dave

Dave tried to get a pain pump installed, but it didn't work so we're scheduled to have a neurosurgeon do it next Friday. Hopefully it works this time. I'm anxious for this surgery. It seems a lot more risky because the neuro surgeon has to go in at T-4 and make a space for the cathider to go up Dave's spine completely, to allow the medicine to dispense.
